It is with deep sorrow the family announces the passing of Josephine Abdulmasih Hannawi on August 15, 2023 at the age of 97, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael Hannawi, she will be sadly missed by her loving children: son Abdul Ahad (Rim Hannawi) children Farah Joy, Michael; son Joseph (Silva Frik) children Michael, George; daughter Bashira widow of (Albert Kas Barsoum) children George (Shama Zakko), Maria (Dani Shamoun), Jack; the late daughter Salwa (Zacharia Saati) children George, Michael, Rosemary; daughter Hend (Jean Tortor) children Joseline, Simon; daughter Aria (Edward Toro) children Saleem, George, Fadi, Carel

As well as all Hannawi, Anti, Golo, Frik, Kas Barsoum, Saati, Tortor and Toro families and friends.
