Ignace Xenopoulos

Beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and colleague, Ignace Xenopoulos passed away on March 17 following a courageous battle with cancer.  Ignace beat several odds and left a mark on all those who crossed his path. We are blessed with the lasting memories he leaves behind. Ignace valued his social interactions and career, living life to its fullest with many friends, colleagues, and family. He enjoyed nature, family gatherings and BBQs, cycling and watching sports, especially Sunday football.

Ignace is survived by his parents Irene and Joseph, his sisters Marguerite (Paul) and Agnes (Elmo), his niece and nephews (Andrew, Joseph, Justin, Mia and Zachary). He also leaves many in mourning including close cousins, relatives, friends and colleagues.

Visitations will be held at Salon Funeraire Komitas 5180 rue de Salaberry H4J 1J3 on Sunday, March 24, from 5pm to 8pm. A private funeral will be held on Monday, March 25.

You may consider a donation in his name to a charity of your choice, notably the Canadian Cancer Society.

Dear Ignace,

Oh, how my heart aches at your loss yet I am comforted that you are no longer in pain.

I remember the day that I called you for an interview at Bentley, more than 20 years ago, and a friendship was formed. I feel so blessed to have called you, my friend!

I will miss our time together, having lunch, trying new coffee, watching “Family Feud” and you trying to explain football to me, but for the most part I will miss our conversations. Especially the look you would give me when I was being silly.

I send my most sincere condolences to his parents, his family, and his loved ones…. May the memories of Ignace bring you comfort. May he rest in peace.

Love Nancy ♥
