I was deeply saddened to hear of your mother’s untimely passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this incredibly difficult time.

Your mother was such a remarkable woman—a true embodiment of grace and kindness. I will always remember her as an elegant, vibrant presence, so full of life and love. Her dedication to the Armenian community and her unwavering warmth left an undeniable mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was truly one of a kind, and her spirit will live on in all the lives she touched.

I am sorry that I am not there with you in Montreal to support you during this time of grief. Please know that my heart is with you and your entire family. I hope you can take comfort in the wonderful memories you shared with her and the legacy of love and independence she leaves behind. 🙏

I remember Arda for the first time in the mid-70s as the founder and organizer of the Debutant Ball I was an escort. Who would have known she would become my daughter’s future grandmother-in-law?

She was a classy lady—an individual shaped from a past era you don’t see often today. I liked her company and enjoyed our conversations over a single-malt scotch. I know my daughter loved her very much too. Condolences to Anita, Patrick and the entire family. She will be missed.
