Annie and I are saddened to learn of your father’s passing. We extend our sincere condolences for your loss. While I did not have the pleasure of knowing your father, personally, I was well aware of his unfailing dedication — going as far back as three decades — to Armenian issues, namely with his factual and articulate writings about our Cause and National Tragedy in the local newspapers, subjects which were not as well-known as they are today.

May he rest in peace.

My heart is so sad at the loss of our “Daidai” Vartkes. He was always so kind and generous. So knowledgeable about all things Armenian. We could discuss for hours… He will be missed greatly! May he rest in eternal peace. My heartfelt condolences to Nayiri and his whole family.
