It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Varoujan Hagopian who left us peacefully on November 19, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in 1943 he spent his early years between Syria and Lebanon before settling in Canada in 1972, where he built a life defined by hard work, dignity, and unwavering devotion to his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Knar Hagopian and his three children: Aznive, Annie and Mardig Hagopian, his cherished grandchildren and his sister, Seta Kataroyan.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his quiet strength, and his deep love for his family. His memory will forever remain a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

May he rest in eternal peace.

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Varoujan Hagopian, qui nous a quittés paisiblement le 19 novembre, après un long et courageux combat contre le cancer.

Né en 1943, il a passé son enfance entre la Syrie et le Liban avant de s’établir au Canada en 1972, où il a construit une vie empreinte de dignité, de persévérance et d’un dévouement inébranlable envers sa famille.

Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien-aimée, Knar Hagopian, ses trois enfants Aznive, Annie et Mardig Hagopian, ses précieux petits-enfants ainsi que sa sœur, Seta Kataroyan.

On se souviendra de lui pour sa bienveillance, sa force tranquille et l’amour profond qu’il portait aux siens. Sa mémoire restera un souvenir cher à tous ceux qui l’ont connu et aimé.

Qu’il repose en paix pour l’éternité.
