It is with profound sorrow that the family announces the passing of Rev. Jerair Bizdikian, who departed this life at the age of 97.
He is reunited with his beloved wife, Alice Mardirossian. He leaves behind his cherished children: John Bizdikian, Samuel Vartan Bizdikian (Kiky Papadopoulos), Ruth Bizdikian (Marco Cortina), and Dikran Bizdikian. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jessica (Narek Messerkhanian), Melissa, Cassandra H., Guiliano Jirayr, and Alexander Vartan, as well as his great-grandchildren Levon and Kami.
He is also survived by his sister Anna Athanasiadis (Dimitri), his sisters-in-law Ovsanna Bayerian and Mari Mardirossian, along with many extended relatives, including cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Born on December 28, 1927, Rev. Jerair Bizdikian dedicated more than five decades to teaching theology, ethics, and English grammar, inspiring generations of students through both his intellect and his compassion. As a minister, he touched countless lives with his gentle counsel, steady leadership, and heartfelt sermons rooted in kindness, humility, and hope.
Beyond his vocation, Rev. Bizdikian’s greatest joy was his family. He was a devoted father who raised his four children with profound love, patience, and wisdom. His home was filled with warmth, stories, and laughter—a place where everyone felt welcomed and cared for.
Rev. Bizdikian will be remembered for his keen mind, generous spirit, and the quiet strength with which he met life’s many seasons. To his students, he was a mentor; to his congregation, a shepherd; and to his family and extended family, the steady and loving cornerstone of their lives. His legacy of faith, compassion, and devotion will endure for generations.
He passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025.
