Joseph Bedrossian September 16 , 1946 - January 02 , 2026
Born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1946 to wonderful parent’s Alice and Krikor, who were intellectuals, musicians, educators, survivors of the genocide, who put aside hardship to establish a family. Joseph was brought up as a child along with his younger sister Nora, as persons who strived for excellence both academically and in service to community.
Joseph was a loving son and brother, later husband, father, uncle, and grandfather.
He was called a walking encyclopedia, with so many multidisciplinary talents and interests, he was a delight to work with and talk to.
For many decades he worked extremely hard in tough conditions as an architect and civil engineer, which shaped his life and persona. He was curious and respectful of so many different cultures, countries, and happy of the experiences he got to live through while working and collaborating with colleagues and friends.
Always there to help and to encourage others to reach their full potential.
For the wellbeing and security of his family he immigrated to Canada in 1990 alongside his wonderfully supportive, caring, and strong wife Annie, and their 2 daughters.
He graciously looked after his family and daughters, always valuing them, encouraging them to question, debate and learn.
He took to heart justice, truth and compassion, all the values of his faith, leading his family to the full knowledge of the Christian faith and the Bible.
An agreeable and entertaining uncle, brother-in-law, father-in-law and friend to so many.
We are all forever grateful and privileged that we were chosen to be part of his family and circle of friends, to have shared memorable moments, conversed and learned from him.
His legacy lives on in the values he instilled in all of us.
