We are saddened to share the passing of our aunt, whose presence in our lives, though often from a distance, was always meaningful. 

 Doreen will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, Brigitte and Caroline, and her nephew, Daniel, who brought happiness to her life. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stanley Druzin.  Doreen also shared a special bond with her faithful feline companion, Molly, who brought comfort and companionship to her home.

In our earliest years, we remember glimpses of her — her voice, her laughter, and the quiet way she moved through family gatherings. Time and circumstance meant we did not see her often as we grew older, but she remained a part of our story and our family’s fabric.  In recent years, we were grateful for the chance to reconnect, and to know her not just as our aunt, but as the woman she had become through a lifetime of experience.

Those final visits are ones we will carry with us — simple conversations and shared memories. They reminded us that family bonds endure, even across stretches of time and distance.

We will remember her with affection, and we hold her in our hearts as we say goodbye.
