Aram Minas (Mimig) Khatchikian, age 64, passed away peacefully April 26, 2024 after a long battle with esophageal cancer. He was born June 26, 1959, in Cairo, Egypt to Artin and Ashkhen Khatchikian, who preceded him in death in 1994 and 2004 respectively. Aram moved to Montreal, Canada at a tender age of four and resided in the West Island for most of his life. He had a great sense of humor and a big heart. He had passion for sports, especially hockey and football, and enjoyed traveling south whenever he could to be in the sun!
Mimig is survived by his two children Aline Khatchikian and Arto Khatchikian; his soon to be first grandchild, Tallulah (Tully); his sisters Annie Kouyoumdjian (Krikor), Alice LeBlanc (Richard) and Aida Khatchikian (Hagop); his many nieces and nephews, and their children; his aunts and uncles; and his cousins. All of these he loved and touched deeply.
