It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hovannes Bogosian on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the age of 83. Hovannes is survived by his loving wife Sirarpie Martayan Bogosian, daughter Anie (Daniel Verrelli) granddaughter Elisa, brother in law Gregory Martayan (Maureen McCall), sister in law Maro Martayan Kasbarian (nephew Aram Kasbarian).

Hovannes was born in Athens, Greece and came to Montreal, Quebec in 1956. He loved playing soccer with the Homenetmen Gamk until his retirement in 1996.  He worked at the Royal Victoria Hospital for 40 years. He enjoyed his retirement driving to Daytona Florida with his loving wife. Hovannes will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Thanks are extended to the staff of the Royal Victoria C09S (Internal Medicine) and D10S (Palliative Care) for their excellent and compassionate care in his final days.

Funeral arrangement to Komitas Funeral Home 5180 Rue Salaberry Montreal, Qc. Church Services will be at the Sourp Hagop Armenian Church on Friday, July 23^rd at 10:30 am
