Eugenie Meguerditchian, nee Terzian

Dear Edna, Rita, Lara, Rafy and family, my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

The eldest child of descendants of survivors of the Armenian Genocide, Garo had immense responsibility for his family and his nation from a very young age. He was a role model and an inspiration to me, his younger sister, throughout my life.

I will always remember him as a devoted, loving, generous and good hearted big brother. In his absence, his memory and legacy will stay with me.

I am thankful that he ‘waited’ to see me as I travelled to Canada from Australia in June this year for the very last time. He was so happy to see me and my daughter Nora. He told me to take care of myself, to stay happy and healthy. It was so wonderful to see him looked after by his lovely wife Edna and his beautiful children and to know he was in good care.

I will miss him immensely, endlessly, until we meet again in eternal life.
